January 3, 2006The formation of the Singapore Iran Business Council (SIBC), a non-government organisation (NGO) and a not for profit organisation (NFP) to be based in Singapore was proposed following the success of the last trade mission to Iran by the Singapore delegation and in the view of the positive business environment in Iran.SIBC’s mission will be to advance and promote business opportunities and networking within the business community in Singapore and Iran.
The formation of SIBC will aim to advance and promote business opportunities and networking within the business community both in Singapore and Iran. SIBC will work closely with the governments and labour organisations in a multi-partite relationship to create a conducive business environment in Singapore and Iran. SIBC will be represented by the Singaporean and Iranian business community that will work together to advance and promote their interests in trade expansion.
