December 7, 2000The second joint seminar organised by CommerceNet Korea (CNK) and CommerceNet Singapore (CNSG) was held in Sangrok Resort in the Chun Ahn area, south of Seoul. The resort was situated about 2 hours’ drive from Seoul, a beautiful holiday retreat with 18-holes golf course and in the vicinity there were amusement parks,woods and lakes. It was away from the city and ideal for a relaxed golf game and country walks.
Participants included members from the hosting CNK as well as CNSG and the seminar commenced on Friday (24th) followed by golfing and networking the next morning (25th). The 24th morning meeting started with the CNK eCommerce Club forum discussion on “Globalisation Strategy of eBusiness” and Mr Wong Jeh Shyan, CEO of CNSG delivered a short presentation on “The Current Status of globalisation of eBusiness in Singapore”.
The seminar proper began after a typical Korean lunch. The sequence of the presentation was as follows:

The joint seminar ended at about six o’clock in the evening. There was an hour break before the members adjourned for a buffet dinner and mingled for business networking and socialising. On the whole, the joint business workshop came to a successful conclusion, thanks to the committed effort and a well-organised plan by dedicated staff from our CommerceNet Korea office. We hope to conduct more regional business network and joint workshop of this kind and look forward to members’ active participation.
