May 9, 2001CommerceNet Consortium’s second Pan Asian eCommerce survey on procurement and catalog issues will be done in the next few months. CNSG hopes for that strong support from Singapore e-Business community.
In this project, 5 CN Asian members – China (including the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region), Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan – will continue to survey a wide variety of companies in each of these 5 countries. The survey will assess their current usage of electronic catalogs in supply chain management activities and their perceptions about future uses of and barriers to Internet-based eCommerce activities. This will be a strong and improved addition to the original survey done earlier.
The project is funded by CommerceNet and CN Japan, with financial contributions from CN Taiwan. CNSG and CN Korea will contribute local coordination efforts.
