August 11, 2000CommerceNet Singapore and Butterworths Professional Conferences jointly organised an E-Commerce Conference on Friday, 4 August 2000 at the Hotel Inter-Continental, Singapore. The theme for this Conference was Life & Exit of a Dot.Com – Practical Legal & Business Issues.
The one-day conference assembled together a distinguished panel of prominent legal and industry experts and personalities in the E-Commerce arena. The conference aims to examine the practical issues relating to the setting up of a dot.com right through to its successful exit and it hopes to target those preparing to embrace this new and dynamic approach to doing business in the twenty first century.
The conference explored the pressing legal, practical and business issues that affect a dot.com, emphasising on proper strategies and methods to adopt before going IPO.
The evening was aptly capped with the popular Internet Happy Hours which brought together the network of contacts, with startups, venture capitalists, financial consultants and the investor community.
The conference was held at Hotel Inter-Continental Ballroom 1 while the Internet Happy Hours was held at Ballroom 3.
