CommerceNet Singapore (CNSG) participated in the e-Health Seminar held at the Oriental Hotel in Singapore. CNSG explained some of the critical success factors and models required for successful e-Health portals in emerging economies and Singapore. The need to build the right network and relationship as well as workable business model are crucial. Speaking at the two days conference, CNSG’s CEO, Mr. Jeh Shyan Wong presented a series of slides outlining the key points in long term healthcare portals development.
Building trust and loyalty is part of the longer term investment. Using tools like trustmark and technology for customer relationship management (CRM) become a necessity to have a successful e-Health portal. The ability to convert and retain customers or users are issues that need to be addressed. Success are also difficult to quantify and measure. Most portals measure success based on volume of transactions.
The conference was organised by IQPC Singapore. Among the speakers are representatives from Galxo-Welcome, novaHEALTH, ehealthcareasia, CyberChemist among others.
