[ 8 July 2002 ] CNSG will launch Pilot to assist Payment Gateways to Consolidate Businesses in Singapore, Malaysia, Korea and Pakistan

In an industry effort to promote the consolidation of Payment Gateway businesses  in the region, CNSG extends assistance to facilitate the merger and realignment of Payment Gateway businesses in Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Pakistan. The effort is to enable healthy growth of an extended critical cluster, which further acts as catalyst to encourage Pan-Asian global payment gateway to take effect. With initial presence in North-East Asia, South-East Asia and South/Central-Asia, the programme intends to be expanded to include Middle-East and North Africa in the second phase.

CNSG was offered various proposals by vendors that are keen to grow inline with the Pilot Programme. CNSG is in the process of evaluating technologies that can be ported to various operating environment and support multiple currencies. Risk managers are also participating to work out risks associated with various geographic region.
