July 21, 2005CommerceNet Singapore’s (CNSG) and the rest of E-Global Singapore 2005 Awards organising committee agreed on the format and key dates for this years awards. The award will continue to encourage and recognise new and deserving entrepreneurs in Singapore.
This year’s award chairmanship will be held by City Junior Chamber of JCI International Singapore. The awards secretariat will be overseen and assisted by Mr. Mohamed Ishak, a Consultative Partner of CNSG. The committee had agreed to revise the nomination fee to encourage more nominees and to enhance affordability. The committee also agreed on invitation of judges and each participating clubs and associations should provide a list of judges to be invited.
The organising committee agreed that the sucess of this year’s award will depend on fund raising efforts to be coordinated from the secretariat. CNSG is of the opinion that there is no shortage of potential nominees for most of the awards’ categories. The commitee agreed to firm up the dates for the media launch as well as the Awards Gala Nite.
E-Global Singapore 2005 Awards is a joint initiative of CNSG, CommerceTrust, AMPRO Business Club, City Junior Chamber, Singapore Industrial Automation Association and Republic Polytechnic.
